Round-up of the 2013/2014 season.
The winter was more moderate this year but we still had an occupancy rate of 74%. Our guests came from all walks of life. The causes of their homelessness ranged from medical and mental issues to relationship breakdowns and financial problems.

The winter was more moderate this year but we still had an occupancy rate of 74%. Our guests came from all walks of life. The causes of their homelessness ranged from medical and mental issues to relationship breakdowns and financial problems.
The season in statistics:
- 25 people spent at least one night in the shelter over the course of the winter.
- Stays ranged from one night to the full three months.
- We provided 747 bed nights and cooked even more meals,
- Over 150 people volunteered to help with cooking, sleeping over, doing the laundry and many other tasks.
- 4089 hours of volunteer time was given worth £36,000 at the London Living Wage.
- Due to the kindness of local organisations an uncounted quantity of fabulous cake was consumed.
- It proved difficult to move our guests into accommodation this year with 38% either returning to the streets or sofa surfing.
- 13 guests were able to find permanent accommodation.
